Matt McCormick loves solving business problems using technology. So far his career has been mainly focused on developing web applications. He built his first website in 1997 and has enjoyed developing for the web ever since. He holds a Bachelor of Science – Major in Computer Science from the University of Victoria.
He has lived in Hong Kong; Nairobi, Kenya; Zagreb, Croatia; Warsaw, Poland and Suzhou, China. He is currently living in Gifu, Japan.
Outside of work, Matt tries to get away from the computer and live in the real world. He is currently working on improving his communication skills through Toastmasters. In the past he has taken Improv classes and has been taking Salsa dancing lessons since 2009. He enjoys reading and learning about business & entrepreneurship, personal finance, investing, cultures, African development and human psychology.
